Javier began his diving journey at the age of 10 in the Caribbean — one of the richest marine ecosystems in the world. What started as a childhood fascination became a lifelong calling.

He studied Oceanography and Marine Sciences at the Universidad Católica de Valencia, deepening his knowledge through coral restoration internships in the Dominican Republic.

After several seasons as a dive instructor in Spain, he answered the call of the Caribbean Sea and relocated permanently to the Dominican Republic. As a PADI Instructor, he combines scientific depth with genuine passion for every single dive.

For Javier, diving is more than sport — it is an encounter with an ecosystem we must understand and protect. This conviction is reflected in every trip he leads.

Paola originally comes from Argentina, where she studied engineering. But the sea drew her in — and in the year 2000, while diving in the Dominican Republic, she discovered her true passion.

She completed her Divemaster training in Puerto Madryn, Argentina — one of the most impressive diving destinations in South America, famous for whales, sea lions, and cold-water diving.

As a PADI Instructor in Utila, Honduras, she completed her training and eventually returned to the Dominican Republic — the country that had sparked her passion in the first place.

Paola's calm, patient demeanor makes her the ideal guide for beginners and returning divers. Her guests consistently report feeling completely safe and at ease from their very first breath underwater.
